I went for my 16 weeks check up today. It's 15 weeks ++ actually, but doctor said give a day or two, so 16 weeks it is. Yeay, dah 4 months, 5 more months to go, insyallah.

My appointment was at 9am. I reached DEMC around 8.45am. The nurse asked me to go to the lab for the blood test & later the urine test. Alhamdulillah urine is clear from sugar & protein, and the blood is also okay & banyak bak kate doctor. There is no more infection as two weeks ago, and so another huge lega for me.

Went in, the lovely doctor mazita asked few things & she mentioned about my weight, I gained only 500g since a month ago & she said I have to put on at least 1kg. Tapi since I was not quite well with the viral fever & flu & the irritating cough for the past 2 weeks & thanks to the bile-nak-habis morning sickness, she says it's okay but try to eat more after this. Insyallah. Senang je direction doctor : EAT MORE! i love the direction so much lah. =p And owh, blood pressure pun okay, alhamdulillah.

BABY'S PROGRESS :
1) Baby now is at my left side (kalau ikut ultrasound image). Last month the head was at the right side but today dah kat kiri dah. Doc cakap because baby's still small & the womb right now quite spacious, baby's enjoying it. Pusing-pusing & guling-guling. So baby, enjoy while you still can ye, nanti dah besar & sempit, you'll start punching & kicking me from inside. Eheh.

2) Baby's right hand : Tadi tengah garu-garu kepala. Haha. Dalam perut pun ada masalah negara ke syg? And then baby shows the right hand, nampak very clear the palm. =) Doctor said "cantiknya tangan die" few times, I don't know how to see if the hands cantik or not but since she said it, it makes me smile.

3) Baby's left hand : Ohhhh myyyy, tadi dok letak tangan atas kepala lagi. Sekejap-sekejap garu kepala, pastu opens & closes the fist, tapi most of the time letak tangan atas kepala mcm tengah relax tepi pantai. Clearly, this is not a coincidence, as last month baby did the same also. This is sooo macam bapak die tengah rest or tido. =p

4) Baby's legs : Tengah relax ye, twirling ke atas, macam orang tengah crossing legs. Doctor cakap die memang tengah rest but not sleeping. Like I said, macam tengah relax tepi pantai. Hehe..

5) Baby's position just now melengkung macam anak bulan, so doctor payah nak cari spine die. But the abdomen is clear, membukit ko, eheh. The baby's head & abdomen circumference were taken to measure the rough weight. Baby is now 138g. Healthy baby ehh.

6) Doc showed the baby's mouth. Tengah bukak tutup mcm anak burung. Hehe. Doc explained that at this stage, baby will swallow the amniotic fluid few times in a day, a form of breathing exersice actually, to slowly strengthen the lung's function.

7) EDD : 22nd August. But still to early to confirm kan, so doctor cakap we'll stick to it as for now.

8) Baby's heartbeat, alhamdulillah, laju & normal for a foetus at this stage.

Hmm... tu je kot for my 16 weeks check up.
Doctor prescribed me calcium supplement & further prescribed me the multivit, Pramilet, since yg dah ada ni dah nak habis.
Next check up, doctor said lets pray & hope we can see if our baby is a boy or a girl. ^____^

elya, best baca progress baby u nih. alhamdulillah semua in a good condition. sian papa dia xdapat follow up secara live kan. but its ok. teknologi di hujung jari;-)
baby kite sebaya la nmpaknya..hehe..sy skang 15 weeks gak..next week insyaAllah 16 weeks..congrate..nt sma2 berpantang dlm puasa..hehe
