High Fever

I'm at Demc at the moment. Riyadh is admitted due to high fever. He was a lil feverish yesterday morning but fed well & played like usual so I just gave him 2.5 ml pcm syrup.

But last night around 1 a.m his when i checked his temperature, it was 38 d.c & i had this uneasy feeling. I gave him another round of pcm and let him sleep, hoping that he will start sweating, the sign that the pcm works.

But no, he didnt sweat at all and at 4 a.m i checked his temperature again, and this time around, 40 freaking degrees! I jumped out of the bed, pack his baju & mine, changed his diaper, i changed & off i drove to Demc with riyadh in the car seat, at 5 a.m.

Sampai Demc, the on call doctor & nurses attended riyadh quickly, inserted the ubat 'bontot', drip air, did the blood test & the doctor told me that they need to admit in riyadh because his paed wants to see his condition & 40 d.c for an 18 months toddler is very alarming.

And so here we are. Riyadh is sleeping. I'm waiting for my parents to come. Oh i keluar rumah just like that this morning totally lupa to ask anyone to teman. I thought my brother Q was at home tapi dia kat UIA. But i guess when you are a seafarer's wife, you handle things like this like a pro because you believe that your husband always pray for your safety, and his child's and you believe that Allah adalah sebaik-baik Pelindung. amin...

Home - Key Collection :)

Alhamdulillah.. last saturday (2/2/2013) was one of the happiest days in my life. I went to collect our house keys. Tho razmin is away, he gives the green light to proceed with the collection. "Abang excited dari jauh" as he told me. Alaa kesian kan but the excitement prevailed. :)

But no, I didn't collect the keys alone. The whole house went hehe. Well except for DD and my lil brothers. The appointment was at 9am on a saturday and well yeah, awal kot for the boys. Mak, abah, abang long, tasha & riyadh tagged along. Thank you guys!

I reached IOI sales office at Bandar Puteri around 9-ish, and I thought I was late but to my surprise the project team for the developer lagi lambat! Okay, 10 minutes late but stillll. They cakap they were told that my appointment was at 10am. And yes, I was very angry. It killed the excitement instantly kottt. But when I saw the bunch of keys I relaxed a bit. Okay, relaxed a lot. I got excited again. Signed few papers and off we went to our new home. Location dirahsiakan atas sebab keselamatan. Hahaha.

Our new home is at Bandar Putera 2, Klang. 15 minutes drive from USJ. From KESAS Highway, easy peasy, just take the exit of Persimpangan Jalan Kebun. If u head straight, the neighbourhood can be seen from the highway. Okay bagitau jalan macam nak ajak datang hehe. Housewarming is not in the near future, insyallah in a year's time.

When we reached our house, the team project supervisor was there to greet us. His name is Mr.Seelan and with him an Indonesian worker named Wadi, he's macam the ketua for the Indonesian workers there, yang take note all the defects to be rectified later.

I was given the sort of honor to unlock the front door hehe semangat ni ambil gambar. My mom reminded me to recite Alfatihah, ayatul Qursi and azan before I enter the house. Adab masuk rumah baru she says. Sooo my mak. :) but thanks mak!

Inside our house, despite the fact it is a small house (double storey 20x70) I felt all kinds of feeling inside me. Excited, overwhelmed, grateful, berdebar, takut but I was a lil bit sad Razmin was not with me to the point I shed a tear. Drama. He was the one who tiba-tiba one day cakap  "sayang jom beli rumah jom!' and later on surprised me when he paid the booking deposit for an end lot with land unit when I honestly thought he was paying for an intermediate unit. Above all, thank you abang for the house. I will take care of it and clean it everyday hehe provided you do the laundry and dishes haha.

Back to the story. Once everyone was inside the house, we roamed around excitedly and of course the little guy was the the most excited person. Running around the house, main cak cak dengan ayoh Z & mama cha and trying to panjat the staircase sebelah tangan . haishh.

I totally left my abah with the supervisor to cari defects of the house hehehe. Ye lah, from my eyes everything is perfect! Plus the excitement clouded my reasonable mind hehe. But luckily abah is a contractor with 30+ years of experience so there he was cakap apa ntah with Mr.Seelan in construction language while Mr.Seelan wrote the defects in the defects list form and Wadi angguk2 while tanda the defects. Thank you abah!

The joint inspection lasted less than an hour and it was scorching hot so after a while semua nak masuk kereta nak duduk dalam aircond hehe. I checked the house one last round, making sure every window is latched properly (except for one window in the tingkat bawah bedroom), locked the kitchen door, the sliding door & the front door and all of us went to Hassan at Taipan for early lunch. It was 11.30am that time and all the lauks still fresh hehehe. That was the highlight of the day :p

Overall, I am so thankful with this rezeki. All the hassle finally paid off. I can't wait to decorate our home. 'Decorate' bunyi macam nak decorate tadika with the colorful colors and all hehehe. But I have to put in mind that it will take quite sometime for us to complete the house because of financial constraint. You don't want to scrap your savings off dalam sekelip mata kan. We have a son to think of, and holidaysss of course hehe. I think holiday still top my to do list. Got to change the list ASAP! :p

Tomorrow (6/2/2013) the grill people will come. Thanks again to abah, he will be there to discuss with the grill people.

Home Sweet Home

Yup! Home sweet home, our home. hehe..gedik je, kunci rumah tak dapat pun lagi  :p

Sebenarnya dah tak tau nak blog pasal apa untuk jadi kenangan. Pasal riyadh semangat nak blog dalam setahun pertama je hahaha. Teruk betul. Siap on time tu update, every 15th day of every month. Gitu.

Now bukan tak nak update tapi riyadh bergerak terlalu laju dan pantas jadinya tak sempat nak catch up :p

Okay alasan.

So untuk topic baru blog ini : Rumah Baru. (sambil diselang seli dengan entry merapu & entry holiday)

Hari sabtu ni, 2hb Februari 2013 aku akan pergi ambil kunci plus joint inspection dengan developer bersama rombongan cik kiah hehehe. Stay tuned. Excitedddddddd! Eh jangan lah tunggu, kang aku tak update kesian korang wahahaha. Pfttttt!

I'm back

Ecewah bukan pergi mana pong. Saja rasa nak memblog kembali. Mungkin kerana nak release tension. Mungkin juga saja saja nak memblog. Tapi kekdahnya, aku rasa aku masih lagi akan jadi malas seperti biasa nak mengupdate hehe.

Terima kasih kepada readers, amboi kau readers gitu, yang PM di facebook bertanyakan perihal blog. Anda buat saya rasa terharu sobs sobs. Harapnya ini dapat mengubat kerinduan anda semua. Okay tipu, takde pulak depa cakap rindu, aku saja tambah.

Hidup masih lagi seperti ini. Masih lagi kerja dengan company kapal, dah masuk 4 bulan dah kerja sini. Razmin masih lagi atas kapal, pun dah masuk 4 bulan. Bulan 12 hari tu mak gigih bawak riyadh pergi bintulu jumpa razmin. Riyadh dah nak masuk 17 bulan. Masih breastfeed, in between minum fresh milk, masih on homemade solid food, alhamdulillah. Gigih berjalan mengejar apa sahaja yang diingini. Panjat apa sahaja yang dia nak panjat tanpa memikirkan risiko. Haih.

Mak abah alhamdulillah sihat, berjalan sakan seperti biasa. Abang long aku dah kahwin. So now i secara rasmi dah ada kakak huehue. Next, tunggu anak sedara pulak hikhik. EE masih setia kerja keras di company minyak hijau. Q sekarang tengah bergelumang dengan final exam final semester di UIA. DD pulak masih weng di Jordan hehe.

The one thing yang membuat diri ini terkinja-kinja seronok is, akhir bulan ni nak amik kunci rumah bawuuu. Seronok tak ingat aihhh. Tak dan2 nak tunggu laki balik, I pergi amik dulu ye bang.

My kind of saturday

Kalau razmin kerja, hari sabtu pertama & ketiga setiap bulan adalah hari ku membeli stok ayam ikan sayur buah & sesekali daging. Stok untuk 2 minggu, untuk aku & riyadh. 

Pagi sabtu lepas bagi riyadh breakfast & mandikan dia, aku hantar riyadh pergi rumah kak siti, babysitter riyadh. Babysitter riyadh memang terbaik, dia tak kisah malah sangat suka. :) Lepas hantar riyadh, aku terus ke mydin. Pukul 9.30 biasanya aku sampai. Hari ahad memang ada pasar tani kat taipan USJ 10 tapi harga berganda dari mydin, tak padan dengan pasar tani kekdahnya, pasar lah sangat!

Aku suka beli sayur kat mydin, sayur paling mahal adalah broccoli, itu pun rm7 sekilo. Kalau kat pasar tani rm12 sekilo. Sakit jiwa kan? Tomato kat mydin adalah termurah, rm2 sekilo. Itu belum masuk sayur mayur hijau, dalam 50sen 60sen je seikat. 

Fresh? Fresh la koo, and antara sebab aku pi hari sabtu adalah kerana hari sabtu mereka stock up sayur fresh fresh! Ikan ayam depa stock up hari-hari so no worries. 

Oh fresh milk juga adalah murah. Kalau goodday kat luar paling murah pernah aku jumpa is rm6.20, paling mahal rm7. Kat mydin, rm6. Ala memang la 20sen je tapi kalau sekali beli dalam 6-7 kotak, kan dah save tuh hehe. Ok fine, tak jauh beza ye. Ha fresh milk dutchlady. Kat luar rm6 khenn? Kat mydin rm5.30. 70 sen tuuu beza. :) Yang nak cari brand farm fresh, kat mydin pun ada farm fresh :) Fresh milk ni tak kisah brand apa pun, sama je. Yang penting fresh milk yang di pasteur & homogen ye, bukan yang disteril or UHT. 

Pergi mydin dalam sejam, balik rumah basuh semua lauk-lauk bersih-bersih, mana yang nak dimarinade kita marinade, masuk plastik baru, simpan dalam freezer. Setakat ni alhamdulillah, ngam-ngam 2 minggu, lauk akan habis tak membazir :) Sayur pulak beli stok seminggu, beli banyak2 nanti dah tak fresh kan, esp daun hijau. Yang lagi seminggu tu beli kat kedai runcit dekat dengan rumah kak siti, sekali beli rm1 je pun paling mahal so total rm5-rm7 max. :p

Berkira? hehe bukan berkira tapi berjimat cermat uols, nak masuk rumah baru tak lama lagi ni. Nak dapat kunci minggu depan insyallah, so takkan nak tengok kunci serangkai tu je kan, haruslah nak pasang itu ini. Nak harap razmin je bayar semua memang boleh sangat kan tapi itu kan rumah aku jugak, nak jugak cakap nanti, "yadh, kipas ni mama yang beli tau" ekeke kipas je ko mampu ye? Semoga dipermudahkan, amin!

Siap semua, masak dinner riyadh, pastu pergi berurut. Pergi urut sebulan sekali je. Ah heavennye! Pastu treat myself with fast food. 2 minggu sekali makan fast food, rasanya boleh dimaafkan kan kan kan? ngeh ngeh. Hari-hari masak maaaa.Today i had mcD samurai burger. Peh peh pehhhh! Rasa nak makan lagi esok. eh? And dalam pukul 3 or pukul 4, amik riyadh, layannnn dia sampai lah pagi senin nak pergi kerja semula. Yeah i know, my life is so simple but this is my ultimate satisfaction. :)

So this is my kind of saturday ^.^

The sayurs. Ada bayam, sawi bunga, terung, bendi, kacang buncis, peria, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, capsicum, pumpkin & butterhead sald. Buah pulak ada lemon, pear, apple & dragon fruit.

Besen purple utk mak. Ada cencaru, siakap, tenggiri & kerapu. Besen kuning utk riyadh. Ada ikan merah, ikan sardin, tenggiri & anak kerapu. Ada chicken drumstick & tulang rusuk mak nak masak kari slurrrppp, nantikan!

This is riyadh's current favourite breakfast. Makan ni hari-hari pun takpe budak nih. Tapi taknak lah bagi hari-hari kan, aku pulak yang bosan nengoknya. Tapi sirius dia suka. Tanda dia suka is dia akan mengadap je bekas puding roti nih sampai habis puding tuh. Aku tak pernah bagi lagi, babysitter dia yang cerita. Puding roti ni aku buat malam, sejukkan, letak dalam tupperware pastu letak dalam fridge, buat depan-depan dia, ralit dia tengok benda alah ramekin tu membakar dalam microwave.

Resepinya adalah mudah sangat sampai aku rasa tak layak dipanggil resepi hehehe.

2 keping roti wholemeal, carik-carik buh dalam ramekin.

Pastu tabur kismis, kismis hitam ye, kismis kuning ada sulfur utk preserve rasa so BIG NO. Or nak tabur buah apa sekali pun tabur lah, pisang pun sedap!

Pastu tuang fresh milk (setahun ke atas) kasi rendam sama itu roti.

Pastu cairkan butter dalam satu sudu besar, tuang semuanya dalam ramekin tu, gaul-gaul sikit kasi mesra sama itu susu.

Tabur grated cheese. Kalau tak tabur pun takpe aih, saje je aku menabur.

Bakar. Aku pakai microwave so auto bake dalam 8 minit, puding tu jadi keras keras tapi lembik, sesuailah dengan riyadh yang baru nak masuk 4 batang gigi.
